In advance of the world assault subsequent to the band Oxbow's 2013 release of their long awaited new record the Thin Black Duke, there is this, the Oxbow Orchestra. strings, woodwind, brass, twin harrowing guitars, operatic backing vocals and classically contained renderings of the Oxbow songbook and featuring NIKO WENNER and EUGENE S. ROBINSON from Oxbow, the Orchestra delivers songs new and old in conspiracy with the blood and sweat of a typical Oxbow outing.
